The socket name is not available on this system
When this error occurs, incoming client connections are refused and if this error occurs, it can be a result of --
1.
The IP Stack not working properly on the machine.
2.
The more likely reason is that a firewall or Port restriction is in place.
To prove/disprove this.
Please run the following from a remote machine
telnet remote.hostname Portno/tcp
If the port is accessible, a Telnet window will appear.
If the port isn't accessible, the error below will appear
Resolution:
1. Ensure the TCP stack is operational. Also verify which TCP stack is in use, IPV4 or IPV6
2. A Port range should be assigned by the System Administrator and and the appropriate values set in oplrqb.ini. These values should cover the Listen port for the broker and also a Portlow and Porthigh range.
If the Admin assistant is used, a Port number should also be assigned.
