VAD file checksum mismatch

Every vad packages contains a checksum to guard its content. If the checksum is recalculated and does not match the one stored in the .vad package, Virtuoso will refuse to install that particular vad package.

If you encounter this error, ensure that you have transferred all packages using binary ftp, if applicable.

If the error occurs in the context of building Virtuoso Open Source, ensure that you have not inadvertently stopped the build, while Virtuoso is restarting. Virtuoso will pause during the restart phrase, and it is possible that some users may construe this to be the completion of the build process.
