Glossary Entry: OpSysLogin

The OpSysLogin ("Operating System Login") parameter appears in the [generic_xxx] sections of Multi-Tier Broker Rulebook.

• If OpSysLogin is set to Yes, the Request Broker will authenticate the connecting user's credentials against the operating system by attempting start the database agent under the identity of that user.
  
• If OpSysLogin is unset or is set to No, the username and password will be passed to the backend database for authentication.
