= Glossary Entry: {{{OpSysLogin}}} =

The {{{OpSysLogin}}} ("Operating System Login") parameter appears in the {{{[generic_xxx]}}} sections of Multi-Tier Broker Rulebook. 
* If {{{OpSysLogin}}} is set to {{{Yes}}}, the Request Broker will authenticate the connecting user's credentials against the operating system by attempting start the database agent under the identity of that user. 
* If {{{OpSysLogin}}} is unset or is set to {{{No}}}, the username and password will be passed to the backend database for authentication.
