• vi the database client user's .profile.
  
• Record the variables contained in the file.
  
• cd into the /bin sub-directory of the OpenLink? installation.
  
• vi openlink.ini.
  
• Locate the [Environment] section that pertains to the OpenLink? driver.
  
• Set the appropriate environment variables.
