/SERVERTYPE

/SERVERTYPE is a Type 3, JDBC connect string parameter. The value which you pass to /SERVERTYPE must match a [Domain Alias], which is contained in the Server's Session Rules Book. Moreover, this alias typically represents the name and version of an OpenLink Database Agent. For example:

/SERVERTYPE=Sybase 10

Be advised -- You may create custom /SERVERTYPES and corresponding Domains to suit your needs. However, custom Domains must have a matching Mapping Rule, [generic_xxx] section, and Environment.
