"Database x not connected" errors are associated with Progress triggers.
If you use Progress triggers, identify the logical database name against which your triggers have been compiled.
Then, use a text editor to open your tableview.pf file.
For example:
bash$ cd /usr/openlink/bin bash$ vi openlink.pf # # # -ld demo -db /usr/lpp/progress/v82a/demo.db -S pro8demo -N tcp -H saturnus
Confirm that the physical database file (-db) is associated with the logical database name (-ld) you used when building your triggers.
You cannot use a different logical name in the .pf file.
With Progress 9.x databases, it may be necessary to add a -trig parameter to the .pf file, following the sockets parameters; for instance:
-S pro8demo -N tcp -H saturnus -trig /path/to/trigger
