The "Could not recognize argument: -umsep" error message is associated with new parameters passed by Progress 9 databases.
Specifically, these databases pass -numsep and -numdec in the Progress startup.pf file.
This startup.pf file appears in the $/DLC directory.
Open it with a text editor.
Then, comment out references to -numsep and -numdec.
The problem should disappear.|
