Glossary Entry: OpSysLogin The OpSysLogin ("Operating System Login") parameter appears in the [generic_xxx] sections of Multi-Tier Broker Rulebook. If OpSysLogin is set to Yes, the Request Broker will authenticate the connecting user's credentials against the operating system by attempting start the database agent under the identity of that user. If OpSysLogin is unset or is set to No, the username and password will be passed to the backend database for authentication. See Also Operating System Identity ValidUIDRange
