</para><itemizedlist mark="bullet" spacing="compact"><listitem> If <computeroutput>OpSysLogin</computeroutput> is set to <computeroutput>Yes</computeroutput>, the Request Broker will authenticate the connecting user&#39;s credentials against the operating system by attempting start the database agent under the identity of that user.

<listitem> If <computeroutput>OpSysLogin</computeroutput> is unset or is set to <computeroutput>No</computeroutput>, the username and password will be passed to the backend database for authentication.</listitem>
