JDBC-ODBC Bridge

The JDBC-ODBC Bridge is data access mechanism that allows a JDBC connection URL to connect to a database via an existing, functional, and local ODBC Data Source Name. OpenLink's Single-Tier and Multi-Tier drivers provide this method of data access.

Note: The JDBC-ODBC Bridge is often refered to as "Type 1" JDBC connectivity.
