Identify the Microsoft SQL Server Listen Port

1. Login to your MIcrosoft SQL Server database server.

2. Expand your Start and Program menus.

3. Expand your Microsoft SQL Server folder.

4. Launch the Microsoft SQL Server Network Utility.

5. Highlight the TCP icon associated with your instance name.

6. Click Properties.

4. Launch the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Configuration Manager.

5. Highlight your Microsoft SQL Server instance name.

6. Click the TCP/IP icon associated with the instance name.

7. Click the IP addresses tab on the dialog that appears.
