= Configuring and Testing the OLE DB Provider for Virtuoso =

# In the Start menu, drill down to **All Programs** -> **<nop>OpenLink Virtuoso** -> **Client Samples** -> **OLE DB** -> **OLE DB Rowset Viewer**.
# Select **File** -> **Full Connect**.
# Use the **Provider:** drop-down menu on the Provider tab to select **VIRTOLEDB**.
# Click **OK**.
# Provide the DBA username and password for the target DBMS when prompted (Virtuoso defaults are {{{dba}}} and {{{dba}}}).
# Click the **Options** button to ensure that the target DSN is properly configured.
# Adjust your DSN configuration, if necessary.
# Click **OK**.
# Type your SQL statement into the SQL statement box.
# Click **SQL->**.
# Click **OK**.
# Review your result set.
# After a successful connection and query, proceed to use the following syntax to build OLE DB provider strings for use with client applications:
