What does Count Stored Procedure Parameters in SQLProcedures do?

This parameter is specific to the Oracle datasource. It affects the output from SQLProcedures when "Custom Catalog Views" is enabled (see also 9.12.12).

When "Custom Catalog Views" in on, "Count Stored Procedure Parameters" is enabled and an internal view, OPENLINK$SQL_PROCEDURES is used. When "Custom Catalog Views" is disabled, the internal view, OPENLINK$SQL_ PROCS_ NOCOUNT is used instead. Consequently, the NUM_ INPUT_ PARAMETERS, NUM_ OUTPUT_ PARAMETERS and NUM_ RESULT_ SETS columns of the SQLProcedures result set all contain ?1

The result set returned by SQL_PROCEDURES includes the number of input and output parameters for each procedure. The number of result sets is always ?1, as is the case when "Custom Catalog Views" is off. SQL_ PROCS_ NOCOUNT returns ?1 for the NUM_ INPUT_ PARAMETERS, NUM_ OUTPUT_ PARAMETERS and NUM_ RESULT_ SETS columns.
